Lots to love about this card, nice image, above average centering, strong corners. But the heavy soiling and surface breaks hold it back.
Historical card and rare. The corner look good and fbe centering is good but the edges and discoloration are big issues
Being picky on a 1914 CJ Joe Jackson might be the biggest sign of me turning into a guy I don't want to become, so I am saying congrats to you Mr. 103 for the centering and honest caramel stains. Congrats on staying in one piece for over a century. I would never be disappointed to own this.
Centering is actually nice. Just the rest of the surface is tough.
Solid 1 with elite centering but the crease placement draws my eye. That said, still a solid piece.
All things considered, this card has a lot going for it despite the obvious flaws. Given how broad a range of eye appeal a "1" grade can have, this CJ still presents very nicely and the staining does not bother me when we are talking about Cracker Jack cards. A solid B+ in my view when taking into account the "1" technical grade.
For a card with a technical grade of a 1, this card presents nicely. You can see why it graded a 1 with the heavy edge wear on the right and the crease on the top left, but the eye does not go there quickly as they are away from Jackson's central image. I also wish this card was not so dirty. This amount of toning / dirt is not due to caramel staining.
This is actually working its charms on me, for a 1. The corners retain nice shape, the centering is solid, and I would take this all the way into the B's if that creasing just evaded his face.
Amazing copy for a PSA 1 especially basedon the centering. The staining/toning, creases and tear (on the right upper edge) hurt.

When I hear 1914 Cracker Jack, this is what I picture in my mind. This PSA 1 punches well above it's weight class with solid centering and stains that scream 'I'm 100+ years old'. Love it.
