1956 Topps Jackie Robinson #30

Without the mark on his cheek this is a solid straight B. Still stays in the B Tier for me as it does not have extreme wear issues that inhibit enjoyment of the image.

The clean image and surface is key, and offsets centering and corners.

Nice color but the centering, corners, and marks on his face hold it to the C range.

Corner wear and a bit off-centered. Great color and image.

Nice card with good image and colors but a little to much border and corner wear for my liking and centering opportunities

Solid eye appeal with no loud flaw to me save centering. The image can be easily enjoyed; the corner wear and mark on his chin make modest impact to me on the eye appeal. I love the back of '56 Topps cards, which is one of my favorite set designs of all time.
