1909 E101 Honus Wagner #batting

Nice image and the color looks great. The angle cut and corner wear are the only issues I notice.

Nice Honus card here - the print is outstanding. Bold, bright and really has the beautiful vintage pop I look for. A little bit of OC and tilt are present but to be expected and the corners are rounded and honest, but none of the above keep this one from A tier eye appeal status.

Honest wear that doesn’t distract from the greatness that is this card.

The registration really grabs me on this specimen, and alongside very good centering carries the eye appeal into the top echelon. Many of these cards and their cousins, so to speak, of the era have such poor focus. Corner wear looks the part and makes minimal impact, as does the top border shape/slope.
