1909 T206 White Border Honus Wagner

Nice copy of a classic.

Sticking by the rules, this is easy on the eye.

One of the nicest copies I’ve ever seen of this card.

Just on pure eye appeal it would be God Tier. Sadly, we do not disclose the restoration work done the way comic grading does so the best I can give it is an average C. Was it trimmed, color added, soaked, was it rebuilt using stock cardboard in spots like say tear seals in comic? I can see the argument for a higher grade on pure eye appeal. I just would call it an "incomplete" without knowing the extent of restoration.

the card is RESTORED. In baseball cards being restored is a Taboo. In comic books it is the norm and they have special grading for them. With that said it does Clearly Labeled as restored and I personally do not like a card altered. Plus to me this is not one of the better restore jobs. If you look closely at the card you can see areas that were restored and does not look good like above the head and to the left. Overall it is nice looking and the colors pop but not on its own merit. For Transparency my grade is reflective of this
