Ever so slight off-centering TTB, but centering, coloring, and registration are remarkable.
Beautiful copy. Some small flakes in the background and corners prevent a higher grade.
Very very strong. Bit of corner wear but it's overlooked by many great aspects
Frank Robinson remains one of baseball’s most underappreciated legends, and this card matches that theme by being criminally undergraded. The bright red and vibrant facial tones pop beautifully, with only minimal snowflaking. This is rare for this card. Centering is excellent, and while the borders could be a touch whiter, that’s a tall order given the paper stock and dirty hands. Overall, this is one of the sharpest examples I’ve seen in years.
If this was centered a tick lower, ooh boy. The image clarity for a 57 Frank is phenomenal. High marks here.
Beautiful card with a little up and down centering issue but still better than almost all others.
Fantastic example for the grade. 1957 Topps is often plagued with print issues called "snow". It is very tough to find a Frank Robinson with this level of print quality. The thicker bottom border holds it back from a higher assessment from me.
