The lower right corner and left edge chipping distract a bit, yet those striations or whatever they are in the top and bottom borders are the real dampener of eye appeal in this case. That the beautiful, ornately patterned surface is largely clean is a plus alongside a portrait that only has a little mark on his left. So those enjoyable parts reclaim a lot of eye appeal.
A few marks catch my eye, most notably the brown line protruding into the circular portrait area and the ones along the top and bottom. Centering could also be improved.
Image quality really stands out. I do notice the light horizontal red lines around the middle of the card. It's great that it doesn't touch the face. Centering is a bit shifted to the bottom right. The card does have flaws but it's still a joy to look at.
Lines in the top and bottom borders grab my attention in the unfortunate way, along with a horizontal line to the left of Plank's image. Add in the centering and the eye appeal caps at a B- for me. The image can still be enjoyed and the eye is entertained by the pattern around Plank, so the design of this card kind of mitigates or blunts the impact of the flaws.

There are lines effecting the overall appeal and there chips in the borders but the main image and the colors are solid and most blemishes blend in. It is mid tier but easy to enjoy
