Insane copy of a card not talked about enough. Max delta between grade and appeal. Love that
Great registration and color and the image is placed in the middle, though I can't call that centered when it's tilted like this. Sorry, but I hate tilt and diamond cuts more than I hate OC.
The only real flaw here is the tilt. I am not a fan of tilt but with the image quality, color and beefy borders, I can see why others give this a bump.
Nice corners and colors but slightly off center over all appeal is steong
Oh Eddie. How you tempt us all with the most valuable Topps rookie. I fear his greatness has been lost to the latest generations. He was on the cover of the first SI. He fought Stan Musial, Mickey Mantle, and Hank Aaron for the top spot in every little leaguers' answer key to "what's your favorite baseball player?" But now? I think he lost his elite status. If it is anything, it is cards like this that will bring that status back and keep him relevant for decades to come.
This is a tough one because I know how notorious this card is for centering and tilt issues. Were one of the centering or tilt better, we'd be in A+ to God Tier territory. As it stands, a top-end Eye Appeal rating for this beauty. Blows away expectations when one hears "3.5."
Incredible EA. Wonderful registration, corners, color and edges. Slight counterclockwise tilt and reverse centering preclude it from achieving GT.

Slightly askew and OC top to bottom. Amazing color and focus
