1953 Topps Don Hoak #176

Colors are nice and vibrant. The centering is shifted a bit to the bottom left.

This card is really strong with the borders and the image and the colors. The bottom black box and wear on corners and edge there hurt it from greatness

Centered and clean all around. Great image and color. Slight whitening on the black boarder.

This is a beautiful card, and a great example of flaws that can exist yet not impact eye appeal to an individual collector-- in this case yours truly. Sitting here enjoying this card with a morning coffee, I can say that were that black corner to improve from where it stands now to pinpoint perfection, it would not materially improve the eye appeal to me. This is also an example of a card I would not normally encounter and it was nice to look him up and get more acquainted.
