I do see the corner wear, and the mark by his ear. Thing is, I just don't care and they just don't nag me while enjoying it. The borders are so evenly framed and white, the image so clean also, that's what holds my eye. Classic case of wear that makes the old system tell us this is "low end" but the eye appeal is better to me than if the corners were sharp and the card was 70/30 both ways with bad registration.

The blue and colors just shine bright with this one. The white border is flawless with great centering. Rounded corners, but it still appeals with the grace of 110+ years of age.

Corner wear, that's it. The TPG system hammers this, but my eyes sure don't! This is how I want to find old cards. Beautiful example.

If you sharpen these corners to technical 10 level, it really does not raise the visual enjoyment to me all that much.

My supremely intelligent cycloptic eye is pleased. While mild flaws are detected, they do not cry out attention. If only humans could master such subtle harmony. I have placed this card on my list, for acquisition and safekeeping in the event of any future human/AI conflict. cc: Skynet.

Forget the corners & enjoy the color & smooth surfaces

Great color and well framed.

Great looking image and the bright white border really stand out. The corners are rounded and the top right one has a small amount of paper loss but they don't hurt the overall appeal much.

Textbook case of flaws that prevent GT and not much else. They just don't get in the way of the enjoyment at all. Talk about serendipitous wear over more than a century; helps the wallet while not bothering the eye much at all!
