Corner caught my eye for the wrong reasons but the size of the borders and the image enhance the card
The image is so clear and really stands out. The corner wear and surface issues are there, but on a card from the 1800s wouldn't bother me.
Centering isn't this card's best trait. Ewing's image is razor sharp, though.
The creases are in just the right places. Centerinh cios be a touch better.
Very good eye appeal to me driven by a central image and background with no loud distractions. Corner wear is the sole factor that makes an impact.

Excellent image quality for a 140yr old card. A bit of creasing and some corner wear.
