I can't decide if this is god tier or A+. It's such a tough card that it really probably deserves god tier, but I have to put it at A+ with the slight centering shift. Insane card though either way.
Gorgeous. The ever so slightest tilt and left to right centering shift prevents a GT.
This may very well become the first unanimous God Tier card we have on the site. I could nit pick the left right centering, but no. The card is stunning. The color. The focus of his face. Corners, borders, edges. It has it all. This body slams so many 8s I have seen in my decades of collecting.
Colors POP and sharp images and clean and bright borders. Cannot get better than this
More like MINT 9. Another case of collectors needing to step in and right the wrongs of "the system." Happy to do my part. Watch this card outrank 8s and 9s in badge and EyeQ.
This is a card I know well, and it simply doesn’t get much better. For me, this is god-tier. The presentation is flawless—nothing distracts from the imagery, and the overall look is exceptional. As far as Bob Gibson rookies go, you’d be hard-pressed to find one with stronger visual appeal. An absolute standout.

Fantastic centering and the pink background is virtually free of fish-eyes and print dots that often plague this card. I actually checked the PSA scan to see if I could find any additional flaws because these images are so bright/over exposed. The PSA scans showed additional toning on the reverse, which likely accounts for the technical grade along with corner wear to the bottom right corner that is more easily seen on the PSA scan. In any event, a stunning example that looks like it could be an "8" or even a "9" from a technical standpoint.
