1915 Postcard Babe Ruth - Boston Red Sox

Sometimes I need to take a step back and just admire a piece of history without nitpicking the small details. This is one of those cases where my eyes immediately look for a young Babe Ruth, and when I find him, I see that the image is clear and impressive. That is all that matters from my standpoint (certainly not the corners or the small amount of tilt). As a bonus, there is no writing on the front or the reverse, making this a clean postcard that is approximately 110 years old of the Great Bambino before he captivated the entire nation with his bat! Outstanding postcard!
This is super cool. Incredible centering. The Babe in Boston... This would get passed down to my son and never sold. I don't know if the value is 1M or $50k. Wouldn't matter.
Insane eye appeal. Most impressed with the clarity of the image, but the centering, corners, etc. are not far behind.
THe Card POPS. The details and the image is so so strong. And the first Year of Ruth in the Majors. POW and WOW
Historic piece here, and one that is very pleasant to take in. We all know where the eye goes on this card--and that means there's margin for error in terms of wear at the perimeter. Such is the case on this specimen. The rounded corners and even tilt do not take my eye off The Babe.
Awesome card. Some faint tilt is all I see because the corners don't factor in with this level of wear, to my eye.
Cool post card. But the tilt keeps it out of the A tier for me.
Please tell me there is more to the 3rd party opinion than the corners on this card. Because I just don't notice the corners not being sharp on this one.
