The small bits of paper loss don't bother me very much. Great card and one I'd love to own
As I've always maintained, for me issues like paper loss or creases or even fish eyes are always evaluated on a case-by-case basis. A small fish eye on one card could wreck the eye appeal, whereas a large one luckily placed on another card I might shrug off. The paper loss here is just such a case; reminds me of the HOF Oxford Confectionary Ruth card. My eye is not nagged or bothered by it here. Centering and a stain in the top right border prevent the A badges, yet the eye appeal remains very good on this Ruth. The image contrast is a major plus. There being so precious few of this card, hard to imagine one looking prettier than this overall. The old numerical system will probably say 1 or 2 out of 10, which is an F. I see much better eye appeal here.
I love the big bold borders and they stand out but the staining on the right side border and the paper loss towards the bottom hurt the appeal. Luckily the main image was not effected

Don't care about the slight centering push, corners & light soil spot are the only thing that draw my eye a little but but the image is fantastic
