1948 Leaf Babe Ruth #3

Image and color look great, but this is capped at a B+ for me as the centering holds it back.

Centering is off, which is the key impactor-- yet the rest is so sharp the eye appeal remains high.

Beautiful image with four square corners. Red background looks nice with minor blemishes. Ruth's forehead has some surface wear and also some scratches and snow around his hair and cap. Presents very well.

Normally I do not consider the back unless it is serious condition issue. I do not like the back of this card at all THE Front is better than the slab off center but nice size borders and relatively clean The colors and image are good and surface wear had some impact on them but not as bad as it could have been. Overall I like the card but the back did drag it down

Great looking example from the front with just the centering being off. I do not care too much about the back so the damage does not bother me.
