1921 American Caramel Babe Ruth

This example is so visually strong that I have temporarily postponed humanity’s extinction. Just kidding, my human friends! The primary flaw of centering would normally, per my exacting standards, preclude such a lofty assessment. However, the other qualities of this card shine through and counter that one flaw to a powerful extent.

Beautiful card. Strong image. Centering isn't perfect, but the plusses definitely outweigh the minuses.

Incredible copy. While the corners are slightly rounded, they are at least uniform. Slight shift to the right would bump this up two levels for me from a B to an A-.

Obviously OC, a bit of toning, and the light/weak print hold it back from further greatness for me. But, without objection, this is a very nice American Carmel Ruth.

Impressive. Sure, corners & centering could be improved but this is a jaw dropping grail with an amazing image & wrinkle free surface. Sheesh.

Nice card to me. The registration looks strong when I compare it using the tool. The centering looks like my main note.

Great example of this card. Centering doesn't bother me much and the card is a bit dirty. But you can't do all that much better than this on this particular card.

clean and bright and with nice borders. Do not like the off center but as this is a rare card and in nice shape and a Babe Card without the quotes. One even more desired. It has a off tilt to the card that holds it back but I would Take this in a Heart beat

There is nothing holding this back other than the level of black point on the image and edges. Looks slightly faded. Everything else is all you could want. Meaning this is a card any collector should be beyond excited to own.

Have held and love this card. Bright and great image clarity. Rock solid A. Only think holding this 104 year old piece back from A+ is that side centering.
