1933 Goudey Babe Ruth #149

Great side centering and no "loud" flaws, as they say. The clean red and good focus win me over.

I've been looking for great-low grade copies of all the 33 Goudey Ruth cards, this would fit nicely in my collection. The only item taking it out of "god tier" is the up and down centering. Great find for the grade.

Good card from a small distance but if you hold it in hands and look close there is a fair amount of surface wear and staining. The borders are better sized and centered than most but it is off center and they have issues including discoloration. This is a nice card for many people’s collection and it is better than the slab

Reasonably well-centered. Minor surface issues. Nice colors but doesn’t quite stand out. A very pleasing example nonetheless.
