I mean, this card is nearly perfection. It’s just that the auto somehow gets lost to me. It’s there but blends too much into the card. That prevents top two tier status.
Great looking card, sharp corners and the colors pop. The auto is sharp and well placed
This card reminds me of the saying: "Million dollar move, but a two-cent shot." I would not be able to buy this card and enjoy looking at it, because the auto is simply a whiff. The problem here was simple: the pen choice. Imagine this in silver with a finer tip pen? Woulda been amazing. As is, it just does not please the eye like others, despite the card's beauty.
This one is a perfect example of what makes signed vintage such a unique and fun sector of the hobby. On paper, a PSA 9/10 signed Fleer MJ sounds like a Holy Grail. Well, don't let the flip fool you. It's almost like MJ lost a golf bet, took it personally, and put the worst auto he could sign on this card. Bad placement, absolutely HORRIFIC choice of pen, and an auto that looks squished and no where near as flowing and beautiful as his old camp autos. Just a whiff. Highest graded sure, but the eyes say otherwise for this collector.

Card: great yet centered a little low. Autograph: too small and way too fat.
