The auto is a top tier example of Tedโs signature, and the wet ink transfer is just too cool to penalize, itโs obviously OC but other aspects make this card one I would truly enjoy!
The signature looks great and well placed. The ink transfer and centering bring the grade down for me.
Some people love that overprint, I'm not one of them. Still the card holds up - nice thin sharpie and lack of toning. I like it.
The back of the card print on the front hurts the eye appeal on this one, but an incredible version.
As a Novelty or oddity this is a great card with the black imprint on most of the background of the card. But visually it is a major distraction. Sad because I love both the autograph and its placement.
This auto is really exceptional. The card, however, has three issues that adversely affect the eye appeal-- illuminating how tough it is for all the elements of a signed vintage card to coalesce in a pleasing way. The centering, the 'wet transfer' of text, and the registration. I could buy the wet transfer as an aspect that almost looks artistic if not for the blurriness created by the registration. Points for the auto, though, which does hold the eye for a while and keeps the eye coming back to it, as those other factors detract.
