This copy appears to be faded and the auto is fighting to remain visible along with uneven corner wear. Wonderful registration however.
Great card but the auto has succumbed to time, as they say. If this auto was not faded, wow.
A little off center and the signature is faded, but everything else looks great.
It's a lovely card, it actually looks better than this in person - the auto is less faded than the scan lets on. But this is one I'd stare at and just worry what the shelf life of the ink is.
Interesting example of signed vintage where I'm crediting EyeQ points for the card itself.. Pretty amazing condition aside from the skosh of lost color. It's possible this was once an amazing signature.. But no longer, unfortunately. Nonetheless, Satch did hold and sign this card, which means a lot.
If that auto was less faded this would be way higher. For signed vintage, i can be far more lenient on some card imperfections than the auto. Still a signed '49 Paige and a centerpiece for many collections.
autograph is lite and fading. THe card condition is ok with respectable centering
The card is really strong for signed vintage, but the auto is a miss. Reminds me of the saying, "Million dollar move, but a two-cent shot." This card sort of exemplifies why signed vintage is so tough. It all has to come together-- and then survive the journey through time. Plus a card was really loved and handled if it was signed way back when.

Card is decent if a little faded. Autograph is just too weak.
