This auto for the WIN. It really is a different beast with these signed vintage cards. These demand a real step back approach, and I'm looking for no things that draw my eye away from the image-auto combination. On this Maris, nothing does that. If there was a big fish eye or crease in the image, that's a problem for me on a card like this. Low centering is the only thing I notice, but noticing and bothering me ain't the same. A+ it is gonna be. That auto, just chef's kiss right there from Maris himself.
For signed vintage, even a centering stickler like me can look right past it here-- because of that showstopper of an autograph. Love the pen and placement, and that style flourish he did at the end of it is just great. No flaws on the image/surface that distract during the viewing, either. Awesome piece in my opinion.
The '61 HR champ with his card signed? Yes please. Even with its flaws of OC and soft corners, this card is a must have.

the card and auto need to work together. These do it ok but not as well as i would like. Love the auto and placement but it is not bold as it blends into the card. Love the big bold borders and how they frame the card
