1953 Topps Mickey Mantle #82

I would take this card in a heart beat. Yes the card has opportunity like off center and chipping in the red at bottom but the colors are the details are so strong. The blue on the hat is amazing. The autograph is wonderful in its placement and how clean it is. Wish it was more bold but with its location on the shirt it still stands out

Good looking card. My eye is only really drawn to the specks in the top left and the signature seems ever so slightly messier than the average Mantle signature. You still can never go wrong with a signed Mantle.

Eye Appeal on these signed vintage pieces is very much alchemy and charm. The auto here is lights out and commands attention in the best way. The face and background also look great. I notice centering much less on a piece like this and even the surface issues in the top left make a softer impact on eye appeal thanks to that stunning pen auto.

Beautiful image and great looking auto. The issues are the centering and PD in the upper left.

Surface, centering, and the bottom right corner are all issues, but the ballpoint auto and crisp image of the Mick carry this to a strong B for me.
