Card has some wear and signature isnāt perfect. What I love about this card is the transition era signature before he developed the half moon style. The signature makes the flaws not matter as much to me.
The flaws just don't collectively move the needle downward that much. The image and that vintage signature are a bounty for the eye!
Great centering and ball-point player era auto, what's more. Beautiful copy.
Amazing early signature that overwhelms the cardās condition issues. Mick knew where to sign even as a youngster. The card itself is far from perfect but the framing is reasonable & the image is clear. Special card regardless of what the flip may say.
The eye appeal would soar if that lead M was boldly struck. This is a 1957-57 auto, which is very rare.
Auto looks a little sloppy compared to his cards signed later, but this seems like a more rare and sought after playing days auto. Centering could be a little better and there is corner and surface wear, but it looks good overall.
A bit too much rounding of the corners for my liking. Surface issues in the middle of the card. The "M" in Mickey has light spots. The auto isn't as attractive as others I've seen.
Nice looking card and nice clean autograph that is legible would love it a bit bolder(but that is a nit pick) and it is on a card that is really nice looking Add it together and I am drooling

Call me crazy, but something about this card just⦠works. Maybe itās the crystal clear image of Mick (even with some present snow), maybe itās the beautiful ballpoint auto with striking placement, itās likely the combo of both working harmoniously together. They do some very heavy lifting to draw (and hold) your eye away from the obvious flaws: centering, snow, honest corners, etc. I love this card and I suspect someone else does too, but if they donāt⦠you know where to find me š
