1953 Bowman Mickey Mantle #59

I love how the sharpie auto pops against the light blue sky. The white specs around his cap are my biggest note holding it back from an even higher grade.

Top Tier eye appeal; I like how Mick seems to be looking at his own floating signature. Card is very well conditioned for signed 50's also. Mild placement issue with second M bumping his cap and the I dot breaching the black frame.

i normally do not like the autograph in that location. But it actually works on this card. The autograph is nice and bold and clearly legilble. But it is not his best autograph that I have seen THe card shows signs of surface wear and discoloration on the borders Still a card I would take but for me more as a place holder until I can get a crisper Auto

Wow.. I'll take it. I don't mind the specks on Mick's face.. The sweet centering and great autograph in a unique spot take center stage here
