1941 Play Ball Joe Dimaggio #71

Love the auto on this one, bold and easy to read. The color on this card looks great but the sides appear trimmed and not very well. His face looks out of focus, which is typical for this card.

The auto scores a lot of points with me here. The rest of the presentation holds up despite some of the obvious flaws.

A lot to like about this one despite the obvious trim job.

card and auto need to compliment each other. The auto is nice and bold and clean and legible and well placed. The card is off center and the border does not frame the card well But combined it blends well

No image "ghosting" from way off registration and the auto really enhances the card. A pretty piece for sure.

Overall clean surface, knocked it to a B due to the fuzzy registration and the centering to the left.

The image is focused and colors are very nice. The auto is definitely the highlight of the card with the bold blue auto. If the trimmed side borders were cut better then I would've rated it higher.

The combo of pinpoint focus (rare and ideal for this card) and a great autograph offsets the thin border/centering issue.
