Many nice qualities. Great centering and reg, and clean, bright surface. Wish the auto was a bit less obstructed by the background.
When looking at a vintage autographed card, the autograph weighs more than the card's condition. To parse through every flaw on such a card makes no sense. This is obviously a great example of a tough card to find autographed.
I know this card like the back of my hand. Setting aside the fact that it is nearly impossible to find this card signed, and how amazing that is, the card itself has a few eye sores that for me keep it out of the A tier. It has multiple creases, including one that goes right through his eyes, which is a big hit, and folded over corners are a bit of an eye sore as well. It also has a minor centering shift and a printing plate shift on both the black and red plates. Incredible card that I'd love to own, but it's a solid B for me overall. Other reviewers are clearly not reviewing the card. All these A+ grades are clearly not for the eye appeal. They're for something else.
Stunner... Beautiful ballpoint signature still quite visible. Can't ask for better centering and focus on a signed Jackie
This card and auto bring imagination of what the interaction must have been between fan and the great Jackie! I love it
This has to be one of the top examples of this signed card. Centering is great for this card.
good looking autiograph and in the ideal location. The card shows some where but overall nice looking card
Signed vintage is such a fun subset of the hobby because so many factors make up a piece’s eye appeal. Not only does the card’s regular features such as centered, focus, print quality, corners etc come into play. One must think about the auto itself. The pen used. The placement. The auto. Then there is the sheer rarity of the item and what is actually out there to choose from. Everything comes together for this one.
Here is one you don't see every day. And this collector has to take that into consideration somewhat. Even setting the rarity aside, this is exceptional focus on an often blurry card. The centering is also strong. Add vintage pen and who cares about the corner wear?

I don't care nearly as much about corners as I do centering and this is centered. Combined with the ball-point auto, this is a top tier eye appeal and rarity.
