1982 Topps Cal Ripken Jr. #98

Centering is all I would flag as this just hits my eye fantastically otherwise.

Clear auto in the ideal position to my eye. The card itself is clean, with bright colors. Ripken's face is relatively sharp. The nameplate also is strong. Only centering is slightly shifted to the top, holding the card back from higher grade. Lovely auto example of this classic 80s card!

Clean card with a nice bold auto. Slight centering tilt and some minor edge wear on the back keep this just short of gid tier.

everything about it is to be enjoyed. Especially how the auto is clean and legible and stands out against the card. And the card has its own eye appeal

This card was so elusive to me as a kid. Couldn't even find one in the local shops. Great example here with no flaws to speak of, to my eye.
