The autograph ✍️ carries a lot on weight here. Incredibly bold, and perfect placement.
Stunner.. While it’s of course a wildly rare piece of history, I have to be fair and not GOD tier. The auto is faint in spots, centering a bit off, and some staining. Amazing card
Love Ruth's signature, but the card itself has multiple significant eye sores. The top left corner was tucked into something keeping it clean while the rest of the card got dirty, the back has tape markings in every quadrant, and the centering is quite a ways off. This would be a D+ for me without the auto, but the auto bumps it up a few grades.
Off centered, general dirty background. The upper left has a serious color situation going on. I get it’s a Goudey auto, but the eye appeal is only so much.
A signed Goudey is always a sight to behold. I don't think babe ever struck a poor auto. The focused, iconic image and gorgeous auto combine like Voltron to contribute to a stunning piece.
That autograph is amazing and it flows perfectly on the placement on the sleeve. THe card has nice appeal but suffers from some discoloration and slightly off center. Otherwise an amazing card
This is simply one of the best cards in the entire hobby. That auto is majestic and this card is hard to find in decent shape even without an autograph that launches it into the most rarefied realm possible. Love the looks of this piece. Could stare at it all day. The mild surface toning/soiling is all that detracts for me, and that is largely overshadowed by the piece's overall presentation.

Despite the surface issues this card AND the auto are absolutely fantastic
